US PRESIDENT Donald Trump was “cryptic” in his reaction to the claim that the US military has captured wreckage from a UFO aircraft - sparking dramatic alarm among extraterrestrial experts that "something big has happened".
US President Donald Trump has remained tight-lipped on the existence of aliens, amid groundbreaking claims of UFO wreckage. During an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, the US leader did not give much away on the classified briefings he has recieved from the Pentagon on UFOs. There has been a dramatic surge in the sightings of UFOs that defy the latest military technology and move in a way that is impossible for known aircraft.
He was recently briefed on reports from Navy pilots who had seen "strange objects" flying at hypersonic speeds and emitting "no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes."
Last week, the Defense Department also held a briefing with Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner as well as two other senators about naval encounters with UFOs.
The US President also responded to claims that the US military had retrieved wreckage from a mysterious UFO aircraft crash and had stored it an an air force base.
Carlson described the President’s response as “cryptic”.
Asked about the briefings, President Trump said: “Well, I don't want to really get into it too much. But personally, I tend to doubt it.
"I mean, you have people that swear by it, right?
"And pilots have come in and they said -- and these are not pilots that are into that particular world, but we have had people saying that they've seen things.
”I’m not a believer, but you know, I guess anything is possible.
"I don't assume it's correct. But, I have an open mind, Tucker.”
Carlson then revealed that a “credible” senior government official had told him about a recent UFO crash in the US.
He said: “We spoke to a government official recently that said they had UFO wreckage in a facility on Air Force Base.
